Here are some more Christmas felt ornaments made with VK Digitizing designs. The buttons are fabric covered buttons and I may try to add a jingle bell on some in place of the button. If you look close you will see the words Joyous, Christmas, and Peace. I really am enjoying these designs and they stitch out very well! Thanks VK!
Christmas Linens with
Needle in a Haystack's
Wise Men Still Seek Him Sampler
Ok, I am super excited about this because this is actually my first Christmas sewing project this year!! I know..... I am wayyyy behind!! This is going to be one of many Christmas ornaments that will be on our family tree this year. I used VK Digitizing Joyous Design and love the way it came out!!
This is SewSensible Swirl Bunny Filled Design done on the Applique' Apron Skirt :)
"I Made This" adorable penguin shirt with the applique design from Embroidery Boutique. I chose it because I did the shirt for my daughter's best friend at the very last moment and it had a low stitch count. It stitched out really well and really fast!
I can't even begin to tell you how much I LOVE the Miss Madeline Peasant Dress! It was the perfect pattern for an adorable Thanksgiving dress with Shelly Pint's Thanksgiving Filled Embroidery Set on the apron. (swakembroidery.com) Everyone wants this dress for next year...even the big people! Lexxi didn't want to take it off...ever...and insisted it would make perfect p.j.'s so that it would already be on for the next day. Oh my!!
Oops, here is the other one :)
The checkboard on the back fit the design just perfect too I thought!!! More "manly" for when Dad is feeding baby!
I made these bibs for a co-worker of my husband. He's kind of a "pretty boy" and these designs were perfect for him and his new son!! I always can find just the right design for someone on this site, I heart SWAK!!!!!!
I put together one more last minute project to celebrate autumn before it's officially over! My friend Vicky introduced me to iron-on crystals, and she was right-I can't get enough of them! In the photo you can see I added them to the swirls near the stem, and the center fabric of the pumpkin seemed to be calling for them as well.
I embroidered Sew Sensibles' "Blue Birds" on a onesie to complete an outfit for my DGD. It stitched out perfectly and just "made" the outfit!
After the design was stitched, this shelf scarf came together in less than an hour, including adhering the crystals and hand-stitching the blanket stitch around the edges. I think this will make a lovely gift for the host of our Thanksgiving feast!
I added a little "bling" to this primitive design with hot fix crystals, which was so easy! I just adhered them to a few of the swirls on the design.
This is a shelf scarf created from the Autumn Redwork design by Needle in a Haystack.
I made this cute door pillow using the free pattern from YCMT and the embroidery file from SWAK!
This fun tote was made using a ready-made tote bag from the store and adding the "Well-Behaved Women" design to it with some ribbon. Way fun to give to my girlfriends! LOL!
Triple ruffle pants and simply sweet top, with Cute Santa Applique from SWAK website
Triple ruffle pants with Dainty Designs Ribbon Top and the Cute Santa Applique design from SWAK website.
Back of outfit showing Ribbon Top, Triple Ruffle Pants, and another embroidery design from SWAK.
This was for a customer request!
I made this pillow for my daughter's friend's birthday. I used the pillow pattern from ycmt, the Vintage Alphabet applique, and Sewsensible's Rose Doll applique. I'm very pleased with how it turned out.
I made this cute little indian for our upcoming Thanksgiving party this year. I love this design, it is so cute!
Shelli of NeedleInAHaystack has generously given permission to me to use her "I Heart U" design on these delightful pillows that are made for www.grandmothers-house.com! So perfect for the Nursery or Toddler's room - and what better way to remind the big kids as they head off to College - "who luvs ya, Baby?!?!?!" We've chosen light background prints of a pale green ticking, white with pink dots, and pale blue with dancing lighter/darker blue hearts. Thanks, Shelli!
Little Lilia is so cute in her shirt made from one of the designs on SWAKembroidery.
