Special Note

The fabric “frame” around the design is reverse appliqued, part of the design inside of the “frame” is appliqued as well. You will end up with a finished, usable 6” square quilting block. You can easily adapt the block to be even as large as 8” by leaving the fabric frame around the design larger. Use the applique ducky for coordinating projects. Leave off the reverse applique frame and just stitch the ric rac frame with ducky onto a pillow or other coordinating project.
For a different look, leave off the embroidered buttons, and hand sew 3 D buttons to the 4 corners of the quilting block.
For 5x7 hoops and larger.
