close-up of "come ye thankful people come" using metallic
I made this pillow with the "Come Ye Thankful People Come" sampler! I love the way the metallic turned out on the black!
The color "red" and "autumn" have to be two of my all-time favorites, which is why I'm partial to this redwork Autumn Glory sampler.
I had so much fun making this holiday card holder out of recycled jeans, a few eyelets, and some ribbon! This 4x4 version of "Rejoice" was stitched out in blue and brown, then cut out and sewn onto the front of my "pocket" before assembling.
I love the simplicity of this whole project...less than one fat quarter of fabric and a ribbon for embellishment. This is the 5x7 version of this sampler.
This redwork sampler was stitched out in the 4x4 size, and was perfect for creating this festive door hanger.
I have been having so much fun creating with these new holiday samplers from Needle in a Haystack! I literally used my scraps from past projects to complete this shelf pillow. Can't wait to give it away (or maybe I'll just keep it for myself.)
i made this for my motherinlaw for her birthday. this is the back.
I made this purse for my motherinlaw for her birthday. this is the front.
Here is a gift set created for my friend's new little baby girl. It was fun to combine the designs of several digitizers on SWAK.
I just loved this "saying." So sweet! I think it would also be cute to stitch out and frame.
I've never tried fringe applique before, but this was so much fun! I love the end result! This was a coordinating small pillow for the gift set.
I used the Camille medium font and a darling bear from the Goodnight Bears Swak-Pack. Both stitched out beautifully!
We love Kimberbell Kids girls!! This one is just so perfect. My Dad passed away this summer and the last thing he got to do with my kids was fly kites. My daughter loves this shirt and says she will think of "Poppy" everytime she wears it.
I love this new design from Needle in a Haystack! It's easy, fast, and beautiful!
I stitched onto some woven fabric and then frayed the edges. I then hand-stitched it onto my background fabric and put it in a frame I purchased from Walmart! Now it's ready for my fall decor!
I made this little treat bag using the design, "A Little Witchy" from Abigail Michelle at SWAK!
I first stitched it on felt and then appliqued it on top of some fun Halloween material I had on hand. Using pinking sheers at the top made it real quick and easy to finish without having to hem!
I just love the look of this witch as it has a look that really takes me back in time. Adorable!
Here's a Halloween wall hanging made using the happy spider design!
Trick-or-Treat bag made with the Happy Spider from Abigail Michelle Designs at SWAK!
Here's one more of a door hanger for a baby nursery using the "A Princess Sleeps Here" from Kimberbell Kids!
I couldn't resist and did a few more of these for baby gifts! The small 4x4 size stitches out in less than 4 minutes! I LOVE IT!
On this small shelf pillow, I stitched on white felt. Then I used an embroidery stitch on my sewing machine to adhere the sampler to my background fabric. It was so easy!
Here's my little guy's trick-or-treat bag! I used the dracula applique from SWAK!
I made this adorable princess pillow using one of Kimberbell Kid's designs! It stitched out in less than 7 minutes and within a half hour I had my next baby shower gift ready to go!
I made this cute BTS dress for my little one to wear when we dropped big brothers and sister off at school. It was my first experience with smocking at all, and I LOVE the results. I would have never found the time to do this by hand... I found pleated inserts for $3 on eBay and then just modified a dress pattern so that I could use the insert. 23 minutes and it was done stitching! Gotta love that!
A trick or treat bag I made for another newphew using SWAK's Frankenstein design!
