This journal cover is completely done as an in the hoop project. The front and back are constructed in separate hoopings and joined together in a third hooping when making the spine. No handsewing required.
There is a pen pocket in the back as well as a pocket for storing papers. The journal is kept closed when not in use with an elastic strap. You can use decorative elastic or make your own fabric covered elastic (instructions are included for doing so).
Your download includes the journal design with the word “Mom” inserted as well as a front
design with the word “Mum”. You also will receive the front design with the label
left blank so you can insert any initials or short name of your own choosing. The words Mom and Mum are written with our ¾” Thirsty Font (for sale separately).
The journal used is a 6x8” journal refill, for sale at B&N online and in store. Please make sure you use the right size journal for this cover.
