This adorable little mermaid is digitized in applique style for the fins and the body with fill stitch. To give the fins a more raised look you can put a piece of batting under the first layer of the applique fabric. I used a piece of satin and on top of that I used 2 layers organza or christelene to give the fins a sparkle. Use this little darling on your daughter's quilts, bags or stitch more than one together for a wall hanging. Please stabilize very well preferably with cut away stabilizer.
