Khokhloma Skull Mask - 6x10

Khokhloma Skull Mask ITH (in the hoop) Design in two sizes for hoop 6x10" for creating Reusable and Washable Face mask with two layers with Filter pocket.

This mask done almost entirely in the hoop. A hand stitching or sewing machine is required for the darts to be stitched.

Khokhloma Skull Mask design is created in two sizes: Large (L) for adults and Medium (M) for children. The stippling gives the mask shape and it stays off your face. You can also add another layer of iron on Pellon, or an additional layer of fabric to the back of the front piece, then add your lining.
This Mask it is NOT a medical-grade mask, and does NOT claim to prevent any sort of disease or virus.

This mask has a Khokhloma motif decoration. Khokhloma or Khokhloma painting (Хохлома) Russian wood painting is a handicraft style and national ornament known for its vivid flower patterns, red and gold colors over a black background. Sugar skull art reflects the folk Mexican art style of big happy smiles, colorful and sparkly adornments. In Mexico it is believed that death is not the final stage in one’s life but rather a step forward into a higher level of conscience. Flowers are meant to symbolize life!
