This beautiful small wall hanging will add a festive holiday touch to your decorating. The 4 blocks of this quilt are stitched in the hoop. The poinsettias are appliqued and then echo quilted; the blocks without embroidery are stipple quilted in the hoop. The vertical contrast strips are applied while in the hoop; the center contrast strip will be attached on the sewing machine.
This is not a quilt as you go project. The backing is unquilted and is brought to the front to create a faux binding. Detailed instructions showing you how to do that are included. You could also apply regular binding to the edges.
This mini quilt would not only look great as a small wall hanging but could also be used as a center table mat.
Some machine sewing experience highly recommended.
