Photostitch (Sfumato) uses very density placed stitches, overlapping each other to give an almost Impressionist effect, which is why this technique is often used for digitizing works of art. The colors are put down in layers, layer after layer. I can do colored design up to 15 colors, and Grayscale ( from Black to White) or Sepia (3-5 colors) and also one-color.
A crisp, clear photo is extremely important.
