This is a great project to make. You can use bright fabrics or shaded ones. For this quilt, I combined Shwe Shwe fabric with quilters cotton. I just loved the brightness of the Shwe Shwe fabrics.
There are 4 different New York Beauty Blocks in this design. You can create various layouts and designs with these 4 blocks. The blocks are created using the embroidery techniques of "sew and flip" and applique. Each block is made and quilted in the hoop. The blocks are then put together with a sewing machine. The backing and binding is also done with a sewing machine.
