Portuguese Women's Folk Costume Machine Embroidery Designs Set. Mixed sizes for hoop from 5x7" up to 8x14" created by ArtEmbroidery.
Designs will look great for Portuguese Folk Costumes and can be used for other purposes.
Portuguese traditional dress varies regionally. While traditional dress is not widely worn, it's still used at weddings and festivals. The North women wear colourful and rich costumes and typically consists of an embroidered long sleeve blouse, bouffant or puffy long skirts, wool vest, apron, and purse. Women also wear long pure gold earrings and necklaces and cover their heads with a shawl (scarf or kerchiefs).
Country women used to enliven their own clothes with details they found in nature: flowers, leaves, hearts.
This set includes floral embroidery designs which imitate hand embroidery for skirts and vest. The design set contains a typical embroidery patterns of flowers and leaves. An example of their location is given, but they can be combined in any order you wish.
All single designs can be stitched in a 5x7" hoop. For those who have a large hoop, for your convenience, you will find designs in some combination up to 8x14" hoop.
The Blouse and the apron design are optional and can be purchased separately.
Clothing pattern is not included.
