The Quilted Flower Table Runner is a fun project to make. Using the turn and sew applique method, there are no raw edges and there is no satin stitch edgings. This design has a low stitch count, making it quick to stitch each block. This applique method give the design an heirloom feel. An invisible nylon thread and a specially designed tack down stitch is used to stitch the applique pieces. This gives a more traditional feel to the flower panels. Each flower panel is made up of 4 blocks. Each block is made and quilted entirely in the hoop. The applique pieces are also done in the hoop, making the fabric preparation easy.
The blocks are joined together and the table runner is completed using a sewing machine.
This design comes in 3 sizes: 6x10 (6x6 block), 7x11 (7x7 block) and 8x12 (8x8 block) - these hoop sizes are needed to make the applique pieces.

7x11 design (7x7 block) - 49" x 18"
8x12 design (8x8 block) - 55" x 20"
