Hanukkah is a Jewish festival as a holiday of “praise and thanksgiving”. It is also known as the Festival of Lights that celebrate from late November to late December. The 8 days festival is observed by lighting the candles of a candelabrum with nine branches, called a Hanukkah menorah. Families use the period after candle lighting for games such as dreidel (sevivon in Hebrew) , singing, and gift-giving.
